My Journey
Samantha’s path to beekeeping started early in life. Fascinated by nature and ecosystems, she went on to work as a research beekeeper at Penn State University, where she embraced sustainable apiculture practices and community outreach.
Though she never owned her own hives, Samantha found deep fulfillment supporting community beekeeping projects across the U.S.
From Texas to Luxembourg
In 2022, Samantha made the move from Austin, Texas—where she spent five years balancing a career in IT with beekeeping—to Luxembourg. She began a master’s program in Entrepreneurship and Innovation at the University of Luxembourg, driven by a desire to build a purpose-driven business in Europe.
A Mission Rooted in Connection
Comb Keeper is the nectar of her passion: an initiative combining immersive education, sustainability, and human well-being. Samantha believes that sharing the magic of bees and agriculture can spark meaningful conversations around environmental stewardship, connection within a diverse country with a rich history, and personal growth.
The Vision
Samantha partners with local beekeeping clubs to offer immersive hive experiences across Luxembourg. Through her initiative, Comb Keeper, she connects curious locals and visitors alike to the country’s agricultural heartbeat, fostering a deeper appreciation for its rich beekeeping heritage.
